We've got fire permits for our day on the beach bonfire on July 26th on Del Monte Beach in Monterey.
We'll have music and art from 10am-10pm, maybe even some live music. This is an officially recognized burning man event, so we're fully permitted. We're working on a location for an after party. If we get it, we will likely have space to play with fire there too, but no guarantees.
go to www.mpyreburn.com for information about the event, and sign up for the tribe at tribes.tribe.net/m-pyre-bonfire to let us know your coming and to discuss whatever you want about the event.
Again, we've got permits for fire, even during this fire season, so this is a rare opportunity to legally spin fire!!! So come out and help light up the beach.
If your interested in bringing some fire out, find Lumina in my friends, and let her know. She's coordinating fire folks.
See you all there!!!

Things to do and know
Fri, July 25, 2008 - 12:13 PMReminder:
We are fully permitted for fire performance on the beach in Monterey near the wharf next to the kayak place. You'll see us there. Bring your fire toys out, and play with us.
Things to do at the beach burn besides hanging out with burners:
1. Rent a kayak. We'll be about 50 feet from a kayak rental place.
2. Start up a game of volleyball. We're right next to a court.
3. Take the kids to Dennis the Menace park right across the street
4. Have a drink at the London Bridge Pub right down the beach.
5. Have sushi at Saporo right above London Bridge Pub
6. And much more!!!
Parking:
There is a small parking lot right were we're going to be. It's $1 per hour, or $8 for the whole day. Machine takes ones, fives, visa, and master card. There is also parking on the street, and in the main wharf parking lot, which is metered.
