Hello everyone!

Eventually I'd like to pick up a fire hoop and spin. I figured this would be a good place to get some answers beforehand. One thing I always wonder is WHERE to spin? Where do you go to spin, not even just hoops, but poi/ect. How do you determine where is a safe place to handle fire, and where isn't? Also where would I go to find information on the cities fire laws, I don't want to light something up and get thrown in jail, haha. I live in Vegas, there is pleanty of desert around me, I've considered going just out of the city limit, but I just don't know.

Anyways, advice would be great, I just don't even know where to start on finding a place to work.
